Glass Options

Many say that when someone remarks that they like your front door, they are actually saying ‘I really like the glass’. It’s probably the first thing that people notice: it makes a statement and enhances the look of any door and it’s your chance to add some individuality and character. Whether it’s traditional bevels and caming, constructed by hand as a modern day leaded light, a resin bevel, coloured glass designs or coloured bevels, the twelve ranges offered will cover most peoples’ tastes.

From traditional to modern, or even ultra modern with truly contemporary styles, the choice is wide and so is the construction of the glazing unit. We offer triple glazed units, for high performance heat and sound insulation, and with the choice of toughened glass outer panes, laminated glass for extra strength, and Low E glass to improve energy rating. Our only glass design that is double, as opposed to triple, glazed is Sulu, a resin bevel design that cannot be triple glazed.

So why do we offer triple glazing when so many other companies still offer just double glazing? Sound and heat insulation performance are important but triple glazing also protects the decorative centre pane. It prevents oxidisation of the lead caming and keeps intricate glass designs clean and dust free. A wipe over the smooth glass outer panes is all it takes to keep your decorative glass clean and sparkling.

Exclusively designed, the Andaman range is a family of elegant designs constructed in triple glazed decorative units using hand cut bevels and beautifully textured glass pieces which are then assembled, using traditional stained glass methods, into brass or zinc caming.

With both the caming and light enhancing glass bevels encapsulated within the triple glazed unit, they cannot attract dust or dirt, nor can the caming oxidise or discolour. This range is both beautiful and easy to clean as both sides provide a smooth glass surface.

A striking and traditional fleur-de-lys design in three rich colourways that make a bold statement about your GRP composite entrance door. The hand painted resin colours and fine lining afforded by the modern resin dispensing equipment, provides an attractive overlay to the satin finish base glass.

The intricate design is protected from dust and dirt by the outer panes that form the triple glazed unit that gives both protection and exceptional heat and sound insulation – easy to clean so that our Celebes decorative glass always looks fresh and new.

One of our new ranges of decorative glass. Coral boasts three different colourways featuring primary colours with a toning hue to provide a unique look. The decorative centre panes are individually assembled with the caming hand soldered in the traditional way then encapsulated within a triple glazed unit, making it easy to clean and providing superb heat and sound insulation.

Reminiscent of the Art Deco period, Flores has all the benefits of 21st century glass technology. The hand-crafted centre pane of sparkling bevels, intricate glass pieces and caming is encapsulated in an easy to clean triple glazed unit that protects the bevels, glass pieces and caming, from dust and dirt as well as oxidisation or discolouration of the caming.

Flores’ distinct and bold tulip design flows through the centre panes of all 10 glass sizes offered. High performance heat and sound insulation is provided by the triple glazing.

With the traditional look of the ever popular‘drop diamond’ design, Java has, nevertheless, a contemporary and clean feel. Java does not only feature blue, green, grey or red coloured glass pieces, but also offers a choice of zinc or black patina caming.

Another of our Resin Colour range, Tasman, benefits from the fine lines that are achievable through the modern resin dispensing equipment and finishing with hand painting. Tasman is very traditional, and its rose design continues to embellish a variety of the traditional GRP composite door designs and blends well with the factory finish pre-pigmented door colours.

The protection afforded by the triple glazed unit, such that dust and dirt cannot collect in the fine resin work of the design, means the Tasman design will always look clean and new.
