Glasswire 15 June 09 Distinction Door Solutions Announce the commissioning of their Second CNC

Distinctions Door Solutions, the market leading distributor of GRP composite doors, has recently announced the commissioning of their second SCM AL 100 Record twin bed CNC, doubling the capacity of the door prepping service offered to trade fabricators.

Drew Wright, Distinction’s Managing Director, said: “The rapid growth in customers requiring sized, edgebanded and routed door blanks has meant that we have had to double our capacity for this service while maintaining our main business of supplying blanks and glazing cassettes to our customers, by direct container or from our warehouse, and providing an overspill and back up service for customers who prep their own blanks.”

Drew continued, “The first three months of 2009 have shown significant growth with no sign of the current economic position affecting the composite door market. We shall continue to expand the services we offer in line with demand from our customer base and new entrants to this ever increasing market.”
