With its 40,000 sq ft warehouse strategically placed in the middle of the UK at Junction 36 of the M1, near Barnsley in South Yorkshire, Distinction Door Solutions can report deliveries of its Nan Ya door blanks and glazing cassettes on time, and in full to their vast network of fabricators across the UK.

The stock is available either in pallets of one style and colour, or in mixed pallets, providing peace of mind to all of Distinction’s customers, large or small. “Our aim is to provide an excellent level of service to all our customers, whether they buy one door a week or one container a week. With over 30,000 door blanks, and 100,000 glazing cassettes in stock at any given time, we can provide the level of service expected. Our larger customers can use this facility to supplement their stock without the need to buy in slower moving colours or door styles”, said Dave Gomersall, Distinction’s Commercial Director, “We have always provided a service to ensure that our larger customers can order the fast moving items by container, taking advantage of the price differential, while buying the other slower moving items ex warehouse allowing them to maintain a tighter control of their costs. We also offer to all our container customers a facility whereby we will swop stock on a ‘pallet for pallet’ basis at no cost. This removes the risk of finding that the mix of a container order fails to match up with demand from the end user customer.”
